Your Belief in Yourself Defines You

Just a reminder:

The people who have known you your whole life (basically your entire Facebook list) are the HARDEST people to sell your coaching to because it is so difficult for these people to see the New You.

These are the people that have known you your whole life, or knew the “old” version of you.

Take me for example…

***Old Becca: partied hard in college. puked in some bushes. did dumb things. dated all the guys. didn’t show up to college classes. blamed others. loved drugs.

***New Becca: created a 7 figure, 30-employee massage studio from the ground in 4.5 years. Created a multiple six figure business in 1 year online. Raising 4 children to be the most creative, grateful, and giving humans she knows how to create. Fit, energetic, healthy, never blames others because she takes extreme ownership of everything, and has high standards for her relationship with her husband. (still may have a soft spot for some drugs.)

This dynamic of old you vs. new you is why it is IMPERATIVE to meet new people ALL THE TIME as the newer version of yourself.

You can’t blame people for always remembering you as the girl throwing up in the bushes. It’s hard to forget that. Plus that girl was definitely SO FUN to hang out with in college, people wanted to remember her.

But, they probably don’t want life coaching from Old Becca. Old Becca woulda gave some sketch advice.

The people you meet today as the new version of yourself get to only know the New You and you can create their vision of you and mold it however you would like.

You literally get to re-write your image.

If you’re having trouble selling, ask yourself who your audience is. Look at that audience with a mirror in your hand. What do they see?

Are you selling relationship coaching to people that watched you slit your ex’s tires? LOL (probably not a good audience)

Every new person you meet is an opportunity to practice introducing yourself as the new you.

Try it, it’s so fun.

Always remember, your past does not define you, your belief in yourself is what defines you.
