Are you a coach who is still broke and waiting to see a ton of income rolling in like this coaching industry seems to be promising everywhere? As in the ‘all my friends are talking about rolling in the coaching dough on a fucking island, and I am still putting all my errands on one day of the week to save gas kind-of-broke?

Alas, my friend… don’t make this mean more than what it actually means. It doesn’t mean something has gone wrong. It doesn’t mean you’re failing. All it means, is you just haven’t yet flipped that switch on. That hella-confidence money-magnet switch that comes with knowledge and trust. Can we say it louder for the people in the back? KNOWLEDGE AND TRUST.

As of right now when this post is being published, the coaching industry is the fastest growing industry in the United States. Personally, I have clients who (truly started from the bottom now we here) and are making anywhere from $3,000 per month all the way up to $200,000 per month. (Shut the FRONT DOOR, those are real numbers.) But did this happen easily and effortlessly? Um no. Read on.

Here is a hard-cold, fact: People are paying for coaches..hand over fist. It is the leading industry on the globe right now. Why? Because people freaking want help. We want help that actually works. We want to stop talking about our problems and start creating blueprints to fix them. We want someone holding us accountable and pushing us past what we can push ourselves. I am meeting more and more people every single day who are beginning to trust and understand what a coach is, and are jumping on that bandwagon like the grass is on fire.

The estimated market size of the Coaching Industry is $15 billion in 2019 with a total of $7.5 billion worth market value in the US alone. It’s expected the market value to reach $20 billion by 2022 with a 6.7% average yearly growth rate from 2019 to 2022.

But, coaches, you can’t just deem yourself a ‘coach,’ change your Instagram handle to “Cuddles&Coaching101’ and watch the clients flood in. It doesn’t work that way.

You have to UNDERSTAND how to attract those people to you. How to make yourself desirable to work with. You have to know how to bring them to you organically, speak to them, hold a proper consult, coach their objections, step into your true authenticity as a human, and how to stop pushing people away from you. Sounds like a lot? It’s really not. It is something you can learn over the course of say….8 weeks?

And my friends, the more you understand the coaching and sales industry, the closer you’ll get to that fat ass wallet. Think of learning and investing like a magic machine. You put $5 dollars in, and outcomes new knowledge as well as $15. (a $10 profit just for investing and learning? Sign me up.) Except that machine is real, and it’s called investing in your business and mind. And instead, you put $1,500 in, and tens of thousands come out.

If your brain/knowledge is an investment, and the statistics and numbers look THIS GOOD….then why the #hellyes wouldn’t you be investing like crazy for the expansion that is so clearly happening? This is the stock market of your life.

I understand that you think investing can be scary and hard. Like, ‘how the hell am I supposed to give thousands of dollars to investing in my business when the food stamp lady knows me by name?’ It is the art of trusting that the bungee cord is going to catch you before you jump off that cliff.

Coaches: You may be an AMAZING coach and have so much value to give, but are throwing spaghetti against the wall when it comes to finding clients that want to pay you. If you’ve got the talent, it’s your duty to learn how to GIVE IT.
